Like Debbie Harry is trouble and Shane McGowan is trouble. I am in trouble. I am trouble. And stepping on stage and singing one true song is trouble.

Year of Queens. Day 281. Tom Waits says that The Pogues songs were “found on top of an old wood stove” - like they’d always been around. They were timeless. They touched on that old old magic.
